Hit the Local Market for Your Fall Recipes
Fall’s coming up, which means that a lot of us will be testing out recipes for the football and holiday season. Those Pinterest boards are probably flourishing with seasonal favorites and newbies alike.
Head over to some local farmers’ markets in New Haven when gathering ingredients for your recipes; CitySeed has put together a full market schedule that has (almost) every day of the week outlined for you. Downtown, Fair Haven and The Hill markets are only open through the end of October while Wooster Square and Edgewood Park are open through mid-December.
We found three recipes that can be easily made in your Winchester Lofts’ modern, stainless steel kitchen and sound pretty fantastic for fall:
- Grab the kale! Fettuccine with Sausage and Kale will be your fall comfort dish.
- Honey, let’s get it poppin’. Buffalo Popcorn is going to be a great game changer for football Sunday.
- Cauliflower and garlic, please. You’re going to be everyone’s new favorite person after feeding them this Roasted Chicken & Cauliflower dish.
We can picture it now: it’s a beautiful fall afternoon and you’re riding your bike from Winchester Lofts to a local market to pick up some fresh vegetables. Living in New Haven is pretty sweet, right?
